For some people, Tinder is where chivalry died, marking the end of traditional dating as we know it. For others, Tinder revolutionized the game and made it much easier to link up with like-minded people. To be clear, like-minded people often means that both parties involved are simply looking for sex. Or as the college kids call it, “Netflix and Chill.” Since being released in 2012, the app has exploded. For its users, primarily the male ones, it has become increasingly more difficult to stand out amongst a crowd of individuals looking for the same thing. On the other hand, a 21-year-old student from the University of Leeds (U.K.) named Sam seems to have perfected the coveted Tinder profile. He created a PowerPoint presentation entitled, “Why You Should Swipe Right,” displaying some of his best characteristics, and now, the genius idea is going viral.
“Things I Enjoy Doing”
He started the presentation by explaining some of his favorite hobbies and other things he likes. The list included a solid mixture of odd interests and clichés that represent the ideal man in a woman’s eyes. Sam lists that he enjoys laser tag, dad jokes, and Dominos. He also includes the classics like long walks on the beach, talking about his feelings, and in his own words, “petting doggos.”
“Other Notable Qualities And Skills”
He goes on to describe some of his most notable qualities and skills, and it starts to become fairly obvious that he is a keeper. First, he knows all the rules to drinking games, plus he is very generous when drunk. Piggybacking off the hot trend of Netflix and chilling, Sam owns a Netflix account and is “not the worst at sex.” And ladies, he is the kind of guy you want to bring home to Mom. In fact, he is self-described as a “great guy to take to family events.” Not to mention, his friends say he’s funny, so you have to trust that characteristic.
“But Don’t Just Take My Word For It…”
The most hilarious part of his unique Tinder profile was the “(totally real)” reviews section. He received praise from U.S. President Donald Trump and the Kool Aid Man’s biggest rival, Leonardo DiCapriSun. Other reviews came from some random guy, his dad, and the Times Guide to Pancakes 2011. Needless to say, the ladies are going to be swiping right like crazy for Sam. Well played, Sir.
